2. Select the quality range that you would like to work with. There are four levels of performance with Ultra
being the highest performing category and Base being the lowest.

DURO Ultra Diamond Cutting Equipment Range
DURO Plus Diamond Cutting Equipment Range
DURO Standard Diamond Cutting Equipment Range
DURO Base Diamond Cutting Equipment

DURO ULTRA tools utilise high concentrations of oversized synthetic diamond grits, patented welding systems and new, state of the art bonds which retain each grain of diamond up to 30% longer giving maximum output. DURO PLUS diamond tools utilise large grain diamond crystals, new bond systems and a patented hot pressed sintering process to ensure very high output. DURO PLUS products cover an ever increasing range of applications all at very high levels of performance. DURO STANDARD diamond tools utilise high quality synthetic diamond grits, patented sintering processes and unique bonds to provide excellent output. DURO BASE diamond tools use patented sintering and welding processes combined with high concentrations of good quality synthetic diamond grits and provide great value output throughout the range. Newly introduced Dry Diamond Core drills continue the high performance value range of products.

All of our products comply to EN13236 standards

DURO works hard to ensure the safety of its ultimate user customers through close co-operation with its partner producers. As a result all DURO products comply with EN13236, the European standard for the production of diamond tools. The EN13236 mark on a product signifies that this product has passed rigorous testing and has been certified.

Our Equipment

DURO is a member of the Drilling & Sawing Association

They were formed in 1984 mainly by contractors, engineers and architects.

The DSA membership consists of Contractor Members and Supplier Members. Contractor Members are specialist companies supplying professional diamond drilling and sawing services. The Supplier Members, like DURO, provide specialist machines and tools used for drilling and sawing.

The DSA has built up a membership over 100 companies, and is committed to the development of consistently high standards of workmanship and equipment alike. They are there to give clients confidence in the quality and specification of work or products offered by their contractor and supplier members.

The DSA has active links with the drilling and sawing associations in other countries through the International Association of Concrete Drillers and Sawers (IACDS).

oSa Standard Logo

The majority of our tools are also approved by the oSa

oSa stands for "Organisation for the Safety of Abrasives". Leading producers of high-grade abrasive products have come together in this international organization to document the high safety standards of their branded and quality products.

The sole purpose is to ensure that the quality of their products remains consistently high in the interests of abrasive product users. oSa members are committed to sustaining quality assurance and ensuring the adherence to safety standards.

As there are no binding safety requirements across the world for abrasive products, users are naturally worried and buying safe abrasives for the many fields of use is made that much more difficult.

To get that urgently needed transparency on the international markets, 17 reputable European companies in the abrasives industry set up the oSa in March 2000. Only 49 companies currently aspire to these standards.

Membership is open to all companies

whose products meet or surpass the CEN standards of safety requirements for abrasive products,

which through stipulated testing procedures and conditions ensure that these standards are also kept,

and which accept the checks laid down by oSa.

Fulfillment of all the requirements give members the right to mark their products with the oSa label.
